Over this past weekend, firefighters spent their time sharpening their skills using an acquired structure. Fireground tactics, suppression techniques, and most of all teamwork were the objectives for this Live Fire Training day. Crews did a fantastic job making this opportunity worth while and gained valuable experience to better protect their community.

A job well done to all!

đźš’ Big Congratulations!

This week we had the pleasure of presenting Firefighters Brian Robinson and Nicholas Girard with their yellow helmets, marking the completion of their probationary periods with the Tumbler Ridge Fire Department.

Over the past several months they have put in countless hours of training, dedication, and hard work to reach this milestone. Completing probation is a major step in a firefighter’s journey, and we are proud to officially welcome them both to the frontlines.

Please join us in congratulating Brian and Nicholas on this achievement and wishing them continued success and safety as they serve our community.

On Pink Shirt Day, we are proud to support this important movement that promotes kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying. As firefighters, teamwork, trust, and respect are at the core of everything we do — both on the fireground and within our communities. We know that safe environments are built on mutual support and accountability, and that bullying has no place in our stations, our schools, or our workplaces. By wearing pink, we stand together in solidarity and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels valued, supported, and heard. Just as we respond when someone calls for help, we also stand up for those who need an ally.
