Lesia was a founding member of UAS, its first chairperson, and a dedicated member throughout the years. She has done so much for the community over the decades—a true leader.

We are profoundly saddened by the passing on April 3 of our former Executive Director Lesia Szwaluk. Lesia was dedicated to the development of TSF and the organization benefited immensely from her skills, professionalism, intricate knowledge of the community, and unwavering faith in our collective ability to truly make a difference. She made time for everyone, nothing was ever impossible, and she was simply a joy to work with. May her legacy continue to inspire.
