Yesterday we were excited to welcome back Chef Karl (with bags of pasta graciously donated by Nature's Farm) to host a cooking class for our participants. We are always delighted to offer these workshops so our participants can learn new recipes that are budget-friendly but still delicious!

It’s a perfect day for a community BBQ! We’re at Tuxedo Family Resource Centre (and sharing a table with Families Forward - Fort Rouge / River Heights ) enjoying this beautiful Friday in the sun!

Today our students visited the Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art to view their exhibit "House on Fire". Field trips to local cultural activities help broaden the horizons of our students, invite discussion, and emphasize the importance of telling one's story. If you have not visited this exhibit yet, it is on until August 29th and admission is free!
