The Philippine Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic joins the observance of Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP), held every last week of July pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 933, s. 2014, in line with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), with the theme “Musika at Himig Natin: Tradisyon, Industriya, at Bagong Tinig.”
This national observance underscores the importance of fostering among Filipinos a deeper appreciation, respect, and enduring pride in the country’s rich musical and cultural heritage, while advancing the promotion, preservation, and wider appreciation of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
