The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Prague, led by Labor Attaché Llewelyn D. Perez, together with Welfare Officer Emer Janette Bamba of OWWA Prague, proudly joined Pinoy Grill 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, an annual gathering of the Filipino community that celebrates faith, fellowship, Filipino culture, and the enduring spirit of bayanihan through food, music, and shared stories.
Held on 19 July 2026, this year’s celebration brought together around 400 members of the Filipino community from across Poland. More than a festive occasion, it served as a meaningful opportunity for OFWs, their families, and community leaders to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the values that continue to unite Filipinos wherever they may be.
As part of the celebration, MWO and OWWA Prague conducted a Labor Outreach Program, bringing essential government services closer to our kababayans. Services included Balik-Manggagawa contract verification, OWWA membership enrollment and renewal, and welfare consultations, allowing OFWs to conveniently access labor and welfare services without the need to travel to Prague.
Beyond delivering services, the outreach provided an opportunity to personally engage with our kababayans, listen to their concerns, and reaffirm the Philippine government’s commitment to protecting their rights, promoting their welfare, and supporting their journey abroad.
MWO Prague extends its heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, volunteers, community leaders, and everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Pinoy Grill. Your dedication and spirit of service continue to strengthen the Filipino community in Poland and reflect the resilience, unity, and generosity that define us as a people.
Maraming salamat to everyone who made this meaningful gathering possible. We look forward to serving and walking alongside our Filipino communities in future outreach activities.
