Working on our Builder and Experiment badges tonight- our Beavers were outside tonight, but we weren't just enjoying the beautiful sunshine- We were being builders, engineers, and scientists!
We made our own paper boats and then launched them πŸ›₯️ πŸ‘·

What a day we had at our NI Beaver Rally Day πŸ˜ƒ
Our Beavers had an amazing time, getting to take part in STEM activities, thanks to Armagh Planetarium and W5 πŸͺ 🧬 πŸ”¬
We also loved our campfire S'mores and had a super time making new friends and playing games with other Beaver colonies from NI.
We'll all sleep tonight 😴

Lets get sorted for restarting in September!

Three people have already stepped forward so you will be joining a growing team.

πŸ‘‰ No Scouting experience needed
πŸ‘‰ Full training, resources and support provided
πŸ‘‰ Roles can be shared to fit around family and work

After over 30 years of incredible volunteering, our current Cub leaders are stepping down. Thanks to them, our Cub Pack is successful, lively and much loved β€” and we want to keep it that way for our young people.

We’re looking for new volunteers to help form a new Cub leadership team.

Most Scout volunteers start as parents, and Cubs is great fun for adults too! Helping out means ensuring Cubs continues for our current Cubs β€” and for Beavers ready to move up.

If you’d like to find out more (no pressure!), please drop us a message, speak to a leader, or contact Ciaran at [email protected].

🌟 Together, we can keep the adventure going 🌟
Scouting is open to everyone – we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.

A big shout out to some of our Beaver leaders, Samara, David and Nichola, who took on the Belfast Marathon yesterday πŸ˜ƒ Also running with David was his wife Stephanie, who you may remember kindly came along to volunteer to help the children earn their Animal Care badge πŸ₯°
We also spotted a few parents out running, so a big well done to you all!

Our Beaver section were excited to host the Slemish District treasure hunt this afternoon. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon, and a huge well done to Cullybackey, who were very worthy winners!
It was wonderful to have Irene Curry, former section leader, with us to mark the answer sheets and award the prize.
Also a huge thank you to Kearney's Randalstown for kindly providing an amazing hamper for our winners πŸ₯°
