Join us at Westbourne Library for a song-writing adventure - ‘The Jungle Jam’ on Thursday 30th July starting at 1.15pm.

It will be a fun, song-writing adventure that takes children on a journey into the jungle.
This has been designed by Explore Learning’s expert curriculum developers for children aged 5-11. By the end of the hour they will have created a magical story for a young book bee who needed their own unique story.

To book a space please contact Westbourne Library on 01202 127676, email: [email protected] or pop in and see a member of staff.

Have you discovered our Story Doors Trail yet?

24 local schools have each designed and made a wonderful wooden door based on one of their favourite books. There's one door hidden in each library across BCP and we're challenging you to find as many as possible this summer.

A trail map is available on our website or you can pop into any branch and pick one up. https://www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/libraries/national-year-of-reading-2026/story-doors-trail

Let us know which doors you've found. They really are amazing!
