Not too long ago, important conversations like these about mental health didnโt happen, so Iโm very grateful to everyone who came, shared so openly and were so encouraging of one another too.
The Government is running a consultation at the moment to inform a new mental health strategy, and - as ever - I want to make sure your voices and experiences are heard. I will be sharing the invaluable feedback from today directly with Government Ministers.
Iโm grateful to our guest speaker John Trevains, Clinical Director for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, at the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership (AWP). It was also really beneficial to have some other local NHS workers and local elected councillors there too, from a range of parties, for a joined up conversation.

Thank you again to all who took part today. I thought the compassion, care and problem-solving in the room was truly an example of what makes our community so great.
