First Calne Scouts Scouting in Calne for 100 years Welcome to the page of 1st Calne Scout Group.

We are the only group in Calne and provide Scouting for over 100 young people. We have an active Beaver Colony, Cub Packs, two Scout Troops and host an Explorer Unit.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported us on Saturday! It was a long, hot 9-hour day, but your efforts raised an incredible £1,500 to keep our Scout Group, Hall, and minibus running for our children.

A special shout-out goes to Josh and his mum, who did a sterling job manning the cake stall all day—you are total superstars! 🌟 and the only one to attend.

Many that attended asked why there were not more of the Scouts and Cubs helping.

Looking ahead: Our fundraising committee is very small, and we cannot run these vital events alone. To keep providing these facilities, we really need more hands on deck. Please consider volunteering just an hour or two at our next event so we can share the load and keep the group thriving!
