We were very saddened to hear of the death of Lord (Tim) Boswell of Aynho.

Tim served as the MP for Daventry from 1987 to 2010 and later in the House of Lords, where he continued his dedication to public service. He is remembered with great respect for all he gave to our community and to the country.

Our thoughts are very much with his family and friends at this sad time.

So another busy one out and about the constituency!

Started off in Chipping Warden with a meeting to discuss issues around HS2 and then off to Staverton knocking on doors, a great visit to a local social enterprise and then a Q&A with residents.

Then, this afternoon and this evening we were out in Daventry in both the Lang Farm and Monksmoor area discussing issues that matter to them most.

Lovely morning in Yelvertoft this morning and having the chance to meet Milly and some local farmers to discuss a range of issues and then join the rest of the team on the doorstep.

Look folks, It's a race here in Daventry between myself as the Conservative Candidate and the Labour Party.

There's no beating around the bush. Whilst the polls have us ahead in Daventry, a vote for Reform risks a Labour MP for our area and a supermajority and an uncertain future for our constituency and country.

I understand that you're frustrated - I absolutely get that.

But here in Daventry we've got a plan. Here's some of our key objectives:

🏥 I will ruthlessly campaign for further local healthcare and education funding and access for our communities.

🌱 I'll preserve our countryside while having a pragmatic approach to addressing local needs for housing. I will advocate against unsuitable developments in our area, whilst doing my best to ensure new developments have the necessary infrastructure and services to support them.

🛣️ I will advocate for further funding to improve roads and pavements. The £10 million uplift from the local council is welcome, but we must ensure there is a detailed review on how this is spent and the timelines to achieve it.

🚄 I will also work with our communities to ensure the issues they are facing with HS2 have a fiery advocate for local residents.

So with your support, not only can we avoid Starmergeddon we can also see through our plan for a more secure future.

This is a serious election in this seat. Your vote matters and counts. Please do support me
