We enjoyed working on a variety of creative projects, including themed journal spreads, drawing, and card making, while sharing ideas and conversation.

The challenge finishes on Saturday 12th September
so, there’s still time to join the challenge and add your name to the music.

As you read, your music note moves along until you become a Rocking Reader.

Epsom Library Musical Make event

Our final Summer Reading Challenge Crafternoon will be on Thursday 27th August at 3pm and we will be making Egg Shakers.

Tickets are £1 per child and the event will in the meeting room at Epsom Library.

This event is suitable for ages 4 years +

Each child will be given one plastic egg to decorate and rice to put in it so that the shakers makes a good sound.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Feel the Beat, Read the Rhyme with Coral Rumble

Join poet and author Coral Rumble in this interactive celebration of poetry and the magic of words. We’ll be tapping and clapping and dancing around, as we read to the beat of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge!

Suitable for children aged 4-11 years. Suggested donation £2.

Come for the Books, Stay for the Crafternoon!

Come along to one of our Special Crafternoons to celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge, we will be creating 'Musical Makes' at Epsom Library.

The Crafternoons will be every week throughout the Summer Holidays.

The Crafternoons will be from 3pm until 4pm in the Junior Library.

The following events will be free to attend, there’s no booking required:

(Donations are welcome, the events are suitable for ages 4 years +)
