Wander through an original immersive theatre adventure set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Norman Keep, where light, sound, and live performance bring the magic of the medieval past to life.

From the 6th-20th December, the Castle grounds will transport attendees to the depths of Norman History through the eyes of Baubry, Hedingham's Blue Boar Cub.

Tickets: £15 per person (Children under 4 go free)

Would you like to work in a 12th Century Norman Keep? We are looking for Front of House staff to join our team.

This is a casual role without minimum hours making it flexible to fit around your schedule. Shifts centre around weddings and general admission days, so will include weekend and evening work.

Duties may vary depending on the day, but you can expect to be:
✨Providing support during our events
✨Providing exceptional customer service
✨Ensuring food presentation, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met
✨Working collaboratively with the caterers and wider team to deliver a seamless guest experience

🎭 Pantaloons Return: Every Christmas Movie Ever

Back by popular demand: this typical pantaloons caper promises to be hilarious, fun & festive. If you love Christmas films and never have the chance to fit them all in, here's your chance!

🔔Carols by Candlelight (with the DeVere Octet)
(10th December)
A beautiful and atmospheric performance from the DeVere Octet. A rare opportunity to hear traditional carols in an enchanting and historic setting. Performed in every alcove of the castle's minstrel gallery, enjoy a tranquil evening by candlelight.

🐈 Puss in Boots Pantomime with IK Productions
(12th & 13th December)
Hedingham's absolute family favourite returns for another year. A classic pantomime in the magical setting of a castle grounds - a unique and exciting experience. Bring your family for a whole day of festive illuminations, historic discovery and seasonal entertainment.

🦉 Owls by Candlelight
(12th & 13th December)
Experience the majesty of owls in flight in a setting like never before. Join Eden Falconry in the banqueting hall of our 900 year-old medieval Norman keep for the ultimate Owl experience. A flight display, a chance to meet the birds up close and handle them, and plenty of time to speak to the expert falconers... This is an opportunity not to be missed.

🎄 Visit our 'Keep Christmastide' Market and the Dwelling of St Nicholas 🎅🏻🤶🏻🎁
(18th - 20th December)
An exciting Christmas Market set against the magical Hedingham Castle Keep. Alongside the Keep Festive Illuminations Trail, the Christmas Market of gifts, food vendors, music and a special visit from Santa will be a memorable event for all members of the family. Give your Children an authentic encounter with St Nicholas that transcends time. Access to the market is FREE, but access to the Illuminations Trail and Santa must be purchased separately.
