We have lots going on today with an incredible collection of local businesses and exciting presentations from the Knights of Albion 🛡, Eden Falconry 🦉 and Classroom Adventures 🏹.

Useful information for all those joining us today for Fairytale Fest 😊👑

INFO AHEAD OF TOMORROWS FAIRYTALE FEST AT Hedingham Castle 🏰

Please check your session time of either 11am or 3pm!
You can have your QR code ready to scan or we will have a guest list on the door also .

🚗 Parking:
Please follow the attendant upon arrival, you will need to park and take a short walk up to the castle
No need to arrive much earlier than your session time as we will only begin checking in guests then!

**We will need to reset the venue between sessions.
You are welcome to enjoy the rest of the grounds but we will ask that you vacate the castle area so we can reset!**

♿ A little note on accessibility: As Hedingham Castle is a beautiful historic building, accessibility is naturally a little more limited than at some of our other venues. There is no lift, and access to the first floor is via the castle’s stone spiral staircase. However, the vast majority of Fairytale Fest will take place either outside within the grounds or on the ground floor of the castle, with only our quiet colouring area located upstairs. If you have any accessibility concerns or need a little extra help on the day, please just let one of our team know - we’ll always do everything we can to help make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 💜

🐰 Info about our baby animal experience: Performing Pets have been part of Fairytale Fest for many years and have a fantastic system in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the animals and our visitors. Their experienced team will guide families through the petting area using a managed one-way system, ensuring every child has the opportunity to meet the animals while keeping everything calm, safe and enjoyable for everyone. We kindly ask that all visitors follow the instructions given by the Performing Pets team throughout your visit, as their priority is creating the best possible experience for both the children and the animals.

The weather is looking beautiful! ☀️ there are lots of shady areas, benches and covered areas as well as inside the castle
