Southfield School

Southfield School Secondary Girls School for Years 7 to 11, with co-educational 6th Form.
Southfield aims to provide for the future needs of our students.

Southfield enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the highest performing schools in the area in terms of our academic results, however, we are striving to build upon this with the aim of becoming a ‘World Class School’. Careers and types of employment opportunities are evolving and changing continually. Some are yet to be created and so we see it as our obligation to prepare our students to be competitive in anticipation of the unknown. Therefore, our strong focus on academic attainment is equalled by our commitment to develop transferable skills and personal characteristics through the many opportunities we provide. We provide an education that prepares our young people for a future in which they will need to be adaptable, resourceful and ethical in facing complex challenges. Being a Southfield student will mean the chance to be successful and have a positive influence on the global community. We aim for all of our students to be able to make an impact and leave a positive imprint on the world. We nurture our students with the future in mind today. Our shared values of Optimism, Resilience, Balance, Individuality and Synergy are explained here: https://www.southfieldsch.co.uk/vision-values

📣Year 6 into 7 Open Evening, tonight from 5.15pm - 7.45pm 📣

Our Year 6 into Year 7 Open Evening is scheduled for Wednesday, 23rd September, and promises to be an informative event for prospective students and their families.

Doors will open at 5:15pm, allowing families to explore the school and meet our staff members and student ambassadors.

The headteacher will deliver multiple talks throughout the evening, scheduled at 5:30pm, 6:15pm, and 7:00pm. These sessions will provide insights into the school's educational philosophy, curriculum, and the transition process from primary to secondary education.

It's a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to ask questions and get a feel for the community and environment of the school.

Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Proud to be Southfield!
