Southfield School Secondary Girls School for Years 7 to 11, with co-educational 6th Form.

Teachers are still in school until tomorrow for training, but we'd like to wish everyone a wonderful, restful and safe summer break.

We're looking forward to our results days on 13 & 20 August and we'll be welcoming our new Year 7s and Year 12s on Wednesday 2 September.

All students will be back in school Thursday 3 September.

To round off the school year, almost 400 students enjoyed a reward trip on Monday 20 July.

These trips were awarded on the basis of high praise points, low behaviour points, strong attendance and a positive attitude to learning. In each year group, half of the students were offered a reward trip in the gold, silver or bronze category.

The activities included:

Rushden Lakes – Trampolining & Shopping
Great Yarmouth Beach
Cadbury's World
Centre MK Shopping
Billing Aqua Park
Hammerton Zoo
Drayton Manor Theme Park
Kettering Bowling, Escape Rooms & Mini Golf

A big round of applause for every student who earned their spot on these rewards trips! Your hard work, great attitude, and commitment to our values have been noticed — and celebrated in the best way possible.

Thank you to our staff who gave up extra hours to make these trips possible too.

As part of our fantastic Southfield 50 party, we had our first showing of 50 Years, 50 Portraits.

It was such a wonderful event meeting some of our nominees and seeing their reaction to their portraits and the exhibition.

It was also wonderful to catch up with some of our former students who produced a portrait for this special event.

We are so proud of all the artists involved. We are very much looking forward to showing the exhibition again in the very near future, and we will be sharing details soon.

We are very proud to be Southfield!
