✅Funding for additional staff member for Queen's Park Community Council to develier more resident-led community activities

✅Investment and plans for new family hub on Third Avenue finalised, construction starting this year
✅Social housing being built in Queen's Park - Farrant House in Queen's Park Court - 100% social housing, new 100% social housing at Tyre and Wheels site
✅ Improvements to Queen's Park Canalside and outside Queen's Park Library - a greener and accessible space
✅ Investment for improvements of Avenues Garden Playground secured, construction starting this summer
✅ Funding for expansion of Community Champions Programme in Queen's Park

✅ New family navigators and housing officers to support people who need it
✅More cycle hangars in Queen's Park and imorovements to local cycleways
✅Worked with residents to develop improvements to roads to address rat running
✅Two new permanent play streets in Queen's Park
✅ Introduction of Eid prayers in parks including Queen's Park Gardens and introduction of signage for local mosque
✅Working with police ,residents, council, housing association and local groups to address antisocial behaviour and crime including convening meetings with police so residents can share concerns and get answers
✅Funding for improvements to local churches including for improvement of green space in St John Evangelist, community gardening in St Luke's
✅New multiuse games areas funded and in development - one at Wilberforce, one in Queen's Park Gardens
✅Investment in Avenues Youth Club including for refurbishment of facilities, activities for young people and solar panels to keep energy bills down and reduce carbon
✅Introduced participatory budgeting programme to fund local groups to provide health and well being activities
✅New coordinated work to address root causes of gang youth violence and child criminal exploitation based on a series of community conversations with local residents
