This week is National Volunteers' Week, and we'd like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to support our library.

From helping at events and activities to assisting behind the scenes, our volunteers play an important role in helping us create a welcoming community space for everyone. Their dedication, kindness and willingness to help make a real difference every day.

You'll spot our banner outside the library this week as a small token of our appreciation, but our gratitude extends far beyond a banner. We are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic team of volunteers.

🐝 A Year in the Life of a Beekeeper 🐝

Ever wondered what really goes on inside a beehive throughout the year?

Join us at Deepings Library on Thursday 18th June at 7pm for a fascinating evening with a local beekeeper, who will take us through the changing seasons of beekeeping, from spring swarms and summer honey production to preparing colonies for winter.

Whether you're curious about bees, interested in nature and wildlife, or have ever considered keeping bees yourself, this promises to be an engaging and informative talk.

☕ £5 per person, including refreshments

📚 Booking is essential
Pop into the library during opening hours:
Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri: 10am–5pm
Sat: 10am–3pm
