Can you help us share the books everyone wants to read this month? 📚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

Volunteers bring so much to our libraries; they make a real difference to their local communities. We are grateful to all of our invaluable volunteers. Your dedication, kindness and passion inspire us every day!

Alice Ealdmoor, our Volunteering Development Manager, shared: “This is my first Volunteers' Week with Libraries Unlimited and I feel very lucky to be working alongside such a dedicated group of volunteers. In just a few months, I have been struck by the zeal and commitment so evident in everyone I meet across the charity, but especially the volunteer teams. It has been a pleasure to be a part of the 2026 Libraries Unlimited Volunteer Awards; every individual nomination was inspiring and altogether they show how volunteering really is enriching lives and building communities across Devon and Torbay.”
