Hi everybody,
Next week is ‘Listening to People’.

We will be celebrating People with Learning Disabilities as part of the ‘Do You See Me’ theme for National Learning Disability Week.
We will hear from our new chair, Sean, announce our Champions for 2026 – 2029 and celebrate our member’s unique strengths.

Don’t forget it is our Big Health Week all that week – Monday 15th to Friday 22nd and there are loads of brilliant activities for you to get involved in.

As always if you have any questions just drop me a line.
Linzi 😊

1.7 million UK households provide 50+ hours of unpaid care each week (source: Carers UK)

However, many people don’t call themselves a carer. This is due to the stigma of asking for help, or the assumption that caring is ‘just part of everyday life’.

This Carers Week, we’re proud to stand with Gaddum in amplifying carers’ voices, and signposting carers to support that’s available to them.
