Congratulations to Andy and Mike on successfully completing their Fire Extinguisher Service & Maintenance training! 👏

Andy has successfully passed his refresher course on the British Standards Code of Practice BS 5306 Parts 3:2017 and 8:2023, renewing his qualification 3 years after originally completing the course.

Mike has also successfully passed the full course covering BS 5306 Parts 3:2017 and 8:2023 and is now fully qualified in the servicing and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. ✅

Fire Alarm Upgrade – Chocolate Works Care Home, York

We’ve recently completed a full fire alarm upgrade at the Chocolate Works Care Home in York, the former Terry’s Chocolate Orange headquarters and main factory.

The works included updating both fire alarm panels along with all associated input and output devices across the site.

A magnificent building with real history behind it, and a challenging installation that required careful planning and coordination throughout.

The project was delivered on time, with minimum disruption to residents and staff, which remained a key priority from start to finish.

👏 Credit to the team involved: Jason, Martin, Zach, Charlie and Andrew.

Another quality project delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Spring cleaning with a difference… 🧼

Andrew and Alex recently carried out the annual fire alarm testing and cleaning of the high-level smoke detectors and beam detectors at Churchill China in Stoke-on-Trent.

With detectors positioned up to 14 metres high, access equipment was required and safely operated by our IPAF-trained engineers.

Routine testing and maintenance helps keep systems reliable, compliant, and ready to protect people and property when it matters most.

Another great job completed by the team. 👏
