If you've thought about volunteering as a befriender, you can find out more at the drop-in sessions in town every Monday!

Befriending can take many forms to help alleviate loneliness and isolation:
📞 Phone or visit a beneficiary within their own home
🚗 Take a beneficiary on trips or accompany them to local community activities
🛒 Take a beneficiary shopping
💻 Help beneficiaries to access online classes and activities

🐾📚 Reach Out and Read with Autumn the Therapy Dog 📚🐾

Join us at Sandbach Library for our friendly Reach Out and Read sessions with Autumn the Therapy Dog!

These relaxed, drop-in sessions give children the chance to read alongside a calm and gentle therapy dog, helping to build confidence, develop a love of reading and make story time even more enjoyable.

🐶 Autumn provides a friendly, non-judgemental presence, encouraging children to relax and read at their own pace. Whether your child is a reluctant reader, building confidence, or simply loves dogs and books, these sessions are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy both! ❤️

Something strange is bubbling away at Sandbach Library this half term... 🫧🕷️

Young scientists aged 5+ are invited to join us for an hour of wonderfully weird Halloween crafting!

🧟 Create your very own slimy specimen jar
👁️ Grow a creepy eyeball tree
🧪 And take home your gruesome creations!

We’ve got a whole week of FREE and low-cost fun, including:

🔎 Have a go at our Halloween Treasure Hunt
🎶 Join us for Story & Songs, Baby Bounce and Rhyme Time
🧱 Get building at Lego Club
🧪 And for something particularly peculiar, step inside our Creepy Curiosity Lab, where slimy specimens and eyeball trees await! 👁️🕷️

There’s something happening throughout the week, so take a look at the poster and plan your visit.
