Many thanks to creative tutor Dylan Brice for a brilliant workshop introducing crochet. We started as complete beginners and after two sessions had learnt enough to have a go at making a pumpkin!
We really enjoy hosting these creative workshops at the library and have a few more in the pipeline, all with amazing local artists. Check out these events if you would like to join us 😊

Can you help us share the books everyone wants to read this month? 📚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

Thank you so much for your support! 💚

Congratulations to Crafty Chris who volunteers with us in the library. She worked so hard over the summer preparing craft activities every week for the children.
Here she is being presented with a gift card from Mayor of Great Torrington, Cllr Dave Parish. Thank you Chris! 👏👏👏
