🐈Cat Café and Romsey Abbey! ⛪

Today we visited the Paws For Thought Cat Cafe🐱 The members settled in for coffee ☕, cake 🍰, and plenty of cuddles with the resident cats, who were more than happy to hop up on the tables and say hello. A few of our furry friends even napped 💤through the whole visit, clearly unbothered by all the excitement!

We then had a fascinating guided tour of the stunning Romsey Abbey, taking in centuries of history and beautiful architecture. 🏛️

🦌🌳 A Wild Day Out at New Forest Wildlife Park! 🌳🦌

We had a very chill day exploring New Forest Wildlife Park! There were lots of amazing animals to see, plenty of fresh air and some lovely moments getting up close to the wildlife.

One of the highlights was meeting the beautiful deer - always a special experience! 🦌

🥾🌿 Stockbridge Walk & Picnic Lunch! 🌿🥪

What a fantastic day out on our Stockbridge walk! We enjoyed a lovely walk through the beautiful countryside, taking in the fresh air, sunshine and stunning views. ☀️🌳

After all that walking, it was time for a well-earned picnic lunch! 🥪🍎 Everyone enjoyed sitting together, having a chat, relaxing and sharing some good food.

A brilliant day of walking, friendship, fresh air and fun! ❤️

🏏A brilliant day at Lord’s! 🏏

What an experience for our members as we headed to the Home of Cricket for the Festival of Disability Cricket at Lord’s! 🏏

We travelled to London by train and Underground, putting our life skills into practice along the way - checking train times, reading maps, navigating the Underground and finding our way around London. 🚆🗺️

Once at Lord’s, we took part in a range of activities around the stadium and had the chance to see the many different ways cricket can be adapted to make the sport accessible and inclusive.

We then ended the day watching England Men’s Mixed Disability team take on India in the final game of their series. 🏏🇮🇳

It was fantastic for our members to see disability cricket being showcased from grassroots and accessible formats through to international level, while experiencing a new sport for themselves.

A massive thank you to St Cross Symondians CC , Hampshire Cricket Board and Lord's Cricket Ground for giving our members this fantastic opportunity. It was a brilliant day full of new experiences, independence, confidence and plenty of cricket! ❤️🏏

A super chill day out at Hillier Gardens in Romsey! 🌸

We had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful gardens, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and taking in all the seasonal colour. There’s always something new to discover, from stunning plants and flowers to tranquil little corners perfect for a relaxing stroll.🌳

If you’re looking for a lovely place to visit in Hampshire, Hillier Gardens is definitely worth a trip!

A lovely day at Buckler’s Hard! 🛥️

We had a wonderful time walking around the museum, enjoying the fresh air and taking in the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed a relaxing boat trip and, of course, treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream!🍦

What a brilliant afternoon at Go US!😀

We kicked things off with a fun game of People Bingo, helping everyone get chatting and learning something new about each other. 💬

We also celebrated James W's birthday with some delicious treats that he very generously brought in to share - thank you, James, and happy birthday! 🎂🥳

To round off the session, everyone enjoyed a selection of board games including Jenga, Connect 4, and an epic game of UNO, with plenty of laughter and friendly competition along the way! 🎲🃏

It's always great to see our members building friendships, and having fun together. 😊
