Join us for an informal Dementia
talk led by Omonike Aremu, Anchor’s South Dementia Specialist.
We aim to raise awareness, where Omonike will share general information about dementia, provide an overview of the condition and look at pathways for support.
There will also be time to ask questions, meet other local organisations and connect with others who may be facing similar experiences.
Refreshments will be provided. We’ll be supported by the below individuals and groups and many more:
Action for Carers Surrey Assist unpaid family and friend carers aged 5-99 years across Surrey. This includes 121 support, a Helpline, advocacy, workshops, support groups, and events – both for information and for carer wellbeing (all free).

Deliver nutritious, tailored meals in easy-to-use packaging, with
dementia-aware staff providing regular and gentle wellbeing checks.
Supports good nutrition while helping people remain comfortable and independent at home.
Our speaker, individuals and organisations will be here to provide support and practical advice to people living with dementia and their loved ones to stay safe, informed and supported within their own homes and communities.
