Wexford Library Our Mission Statement: To promote change and social justice through access to knowledge and information. Membership of the library is free. So why not join?

We are a public library service run by Wexford County Council. Just call in to us with proof of address (letter, bill, driving licence etc.) and photographic ID, fill out a simple registration form. When you become a member of Wexford Library, you can:

Borrow up to 12 items and this includes books, DVDs, CDs for 3 weeks at a time, from any of our public library branches in County Wexford. Free in

ternet access. Book a session to practice the Driver theory test. Learn a new language online from the comfort of your own home. Be in the know about free events happening in your library

Carmel will share insights into her writing career, the creative writing process and discuss her novels.
Published in fourteen territories, Carmel’s books are translated into nine languages.
One of her more recent novels, The Stolen Child, was an Irish Times Number One bestseller, a UK Top fifteen bestseller, a Good Housekeeping Good Books Winner, and shortlisted for an Irish Book Awards Crime Fiction Book of the Year.

Another fun day at Wexford Town Library celebrating cultural appreciation and our growing community.
While children played and laughed at Ornella`s impression of Goldilock`s Baby Bear, adults shared their own stories (and recipes!) from homes near and far. It was all enjoyed in a wonderful spirit of community and togetherness.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part: it was a true pleasure to meet you all.

The colours said it all... Yesterday`s Plant Swap event was fresh, buzzing with energy, and so relaxing. We swapped plants, swapped tips, and inspired each other.
Thank you all for the great company and chats, and to our Angela for pulling it all together so beautifully, once again.

Library staff spotted in deep negotiations with Ted the Library Teddy 🧸
Ted is now the official judge of our Bookmark Competition AND manager of the Summer Stars Reading Adventure. What`s the problem you say? He wants berries and honey to be the final prize!!
We are trying to convince him that a 3D printed golden medal might be a better idea...
Children of all ages: grab your Summer Stars reading log, your activity book, start earning stickers + prizes + 3D prints, and see if your bookmark gets Ted`s paw of approval.
