STC Jammu Organizes Cycling Event with Paramedical Staff / Ayush Arogya Mandir
Sports Training Centre (STC), Jammu successfully organized a Cycling Event on 19th July 2026 in collaboration with Paramedical Staff / Ayush Arogya Mandir to promote fitness, healthy living, and awareness about the importance of regular physical activity.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Paramedical Staff / Ayush Arogya Mandir, including Dr. Ramandeep (Dental Surgeon), Vikram Singh (Junior Dental Technician), Ajay Singh (Senior Pharmacist), Vinod Pandita (Senior Lab Technician), Sushil Bharti (Senior Pharmacist), and Rohit (Senior Pharmacist), along with STC Jammu staff, coaches, and athletes. A total of 60 participants took part in the cycling rally, demonstrating their commitment towards a healthy and active lifestyle.
The participants cycled with great enthusiasm, spreading the message of health, wellness, and physical fitness among the public. The event highlighted the significance of community participation in promoting sports and preventive healthcare.

STC Jammu Organizes Community Cycling Ride with Chartered Accountants

Sports Training Centre (STC), Jammu, successfully organized a Community Cycling Ride in collaboration with the Chartered Accountants fraternity to promote fitness, health, and an active lifestyle. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 cyclists, including STC coaches, staff members, athletes, and members of the Chartered Accountants fraternity.

The Chartered Accountants committee was represented by CA Amit Gupta (Chairman), CA Jatin Malhotra (Vice Chairman), CA Sanchit Aggarwal (Secretary), CA Ayush Mahajan (Treasurer), and CA Sourav Pargal (Past Chairman), whose presence added great value to the event.

To mark the occasion, tracksuits and T-shirts were distributed to the participants, followed by refreshments after the completion of the cycling ride.

The event successfully promoted the message of fitness, teamwork, and community engagement, encouraging people to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle through regular physical activity.

Sports Training Centre (STC), Jammu successfully organised a Cycling Event under the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" to spread awareness about a drug-free and healthy lifestyle.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the coaches, staff members and athletes of STC Jammu, reflecting their commitment towards promoting fitness and supporting the national campaign against substance abuse. A total of 35 participants took part in the cycling event.

Sports Authority of India (SAI), STC Jammu is organizing a Talent Identification Hunt for the disciplines of Wushu and Basketball against the vacant seats available at the Centre on 29 June 2026.
The Talent Identification Hunt aims to identify talented and promising athletes and provide them with an opportunity to receive systematic training under the Sports Authority of India. Young athletes possessing potential in Wushu and Basketball are encouraged to participate in the selection process.
Interested candidates are requested to report at 8:30 AM on 29 June 2026 at **** along with their Aadhaar Card, Date of Birth Certificate, recent passport-size photographs, and relevant sports achievement certificates, if any.
The selection process will be conducted by a panel of qualified coaches and experts in accordance with the norms and guidelines of the Sports Authority of India.
Athletes aspiring to excel in Wushu and Basketball are encouraged to make use of this opportunity and participate in the Talent Identification Hunt..

STC Jammu Celebrates 12th Edition of International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm
Sports Training Centre (STC) Jammu successfully celebrated the 12th Edition of International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation on its campus. The event witnessed the gracious presence of Sh. Suram Singh, SSP as the Chief Guest. During the programme, the SSP addressed the gathering and highlighted the numerous benefits of yoga, emphasizing its role in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
The yoga session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Kirti Aggarwal, Yoga Ayush Certified Instructor. The programme was attended by Centre Incharge Sh. Touseef Ahmed, Sh. Baljit Singh (CRPF), Fit India, Ministry of Ayush, along with coaches, staff members and athletes of STC Jammu.
Around 120 participants took part in the celebration and performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises with great enthusiasm. The event concluded successfully with a message of adopting yoga as a daily practice for a healthier, happier and more balanced life.
