▶️ Petit aperçu de notre campagne de promotion de la santé au Flacq Retail Park, Boulet Rouge !

Le 19 septembre, dépistage, sensibilisation et conseils étaient au rendez-vous pour une journée placée sous le signe de la prévention et du bien-être.

Parce que prévenir, c’est déjà prendre soin de soi.

Et si mieux prendre soin de sa santé commençait par la prévention ?

Le samedi 19 septembre 2026, le ministère de la Santé et du Bien-être est allé à la rencontre du public au Flacq Retail Park, à Boulet Rouge, à l’occasion d’une campagne de promotion de la santé.

En présence de l’Hon. Anil Kumar Bachoo, ministre de la Santé et du Bien-être, cette journée a permis au public de bénéficier de dépistages, de conseils et d’actions de sensibilisation autour de la prévention et des maladies non transmissibles.

L’objectif : détecter les risques plus tôt, adopter de meilleures habitudes et faire de la prévention un réflexe au quotidien.

Parce que chaque petit geste compte pour mieux protéger sa santé.

As part of the activities being organised in the context of World Dementia Day 2026, the Ministry of Health and Wellness today inaugurated the Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) Wards at J. Nehru Hospital, strengthening the provision of specialised and age-friendly healthcare services for older persons.

The official ceremony was performed by Hon Anil Kumar Bachoo, G.O.S.K., Minister of Health and Wellness, in the presence of Hon Anishta Babooram, Junior Minister of Health and Wellness, Hon Manoj Seeburn, Member of the National Assembly, Hon Ashley Ramdass, Member of the National Assembly, and other eminent personalities.

The establishment of the ACE Wards represents an important step towards providing comprehensive, coordinated and patient-centred care for elderly patients, with particular attention to their specific healthcare needs and overall well-being.

The initiative reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to promoting healthy ageing, quality healthcare and dignity for older persons, while strengthening services aimed at addressing age-related health conditions, including dementia.

Alzheimer : et si on prenait un moment pour mieux comprendre ?

Ce 21 septembre, à l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de la maladie d’Alzheimer, informons-nous et rappelons l’importance de mieux comprendre la maladie, de mieux accompagner les personnes concernées et, surtout, de rester présents les uns pour les autres.

Un geste, une écoute, une présence peuvent faire toute la différence au quotidien.

Pour plus d’informations sur la prise en charge de la maladie d’Alzheimer, le public peut contacter les hôpitaux régionaux.
