Les athlètes mauriciens médaillés aux Jeux du Commonwealth 2026 ont été reçus cet après-midi au ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports pour une remise de chèques.

🥇 Rémi Feuillet – Rs 300 000
🥉 Mervin Clair – Rs 100 000

Absente, Noémi Alphonse percevra Rs 400 000 pour ses deux médailles d’argent.

Le ministre Deven Nagalingum a salué leurs performances et réaffirmé son soutien au sport mauricien.

Team Maurice is blazing a trail, carving its name ever deeper into Commonwealth Games legend.

Mauritius now counts just two gold medals across its entire history in this great global arena – but what a pair they are:

🥊 1998, Kuala Lumpur – the legendary Richard Sunee, landing blows that opened the door for an entire nation.

🥋 2026, Glasgow – the phenomenal Rémi Feuillet, seizing gold in judo, the first ever for Mauritius in the discipline, and delivering a sequel 28 years in the making.
