On 27 August 2026, the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Kuala Lumpur was honoured to receive a courtesy visit from Mr. Hassan Miras, Minister of State for Finance & Public Enterprises of the Republic of Maldives.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to exchange views and explore potential areas of cooperation, while further strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between Serbia and the Maldives.

The Consulate looks forward to fostering closer relations and continued cooperation between the two countries.

Courtesy Visit by The Pines Melaka to the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Kuala Lumpur

The Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Kuala Lumpur welcomed a courtesy visit from Mr. Shafiq Fizanie, Assistant Sales Manager of The Pines Melaka, on 13 August 2026.

The constructive discussion focused on hotel services, VIP room reservations, VIP guest arrangements and hospitality, as well as other matters relating to official accommodation requirements and potential areas of cooperation.

The meeting provided a positive platform to strengthen the relationship and explore opportunities for closer cooperation between the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Kuala Lumpur and The Pines Melaka in the future.
