Wider community, our Book Fair is on next week and we'd love to see you there!

This is a great opportunity to encourage a love of reading by helping your child choose a new book to enjoy. Bring along some cash, browse the wide range of books available, and support literacy at our school.

If you haven't had the chance already, take the opportunity to have a look around our refurbished school while you're here.

While our seniors were away at Technology, the rest of Room 1 got a head start on some of the bushcraft skills we'll be exploring in Term 3 and 4.

Today, we tested out our Jetboils and sampled some freeze-dried meals to see what outdoor cooking can be all about. The students enjoyed learning how the equipment works, watching the water boil in record time, and tasting food designed for adventures in the great outdoors!

It was a fun hands-on experience and a great introduction to the bushcraft learning and outdoor challenges that lie ahead.

First game done and dusted at Central Cup! We couldn't be more proud of this incredible bunch. The sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and mana they showed while representing our school was outstanding. They played Basketball against Winton Primary School and won 14-10.

We are on the hunt!

As we head into the colder winter months, our students have come up with some fantastic ideas for lunchtime activities, and we're hoping our community might be able to help.

We are looking for:

🚲 Push Bikes – Do you have an old bike gathering dust or rusting away in the shed? We would love to build a small collection of bikes for students to use at school. Ideally, bikes would be in working condition or only need minor repairs.

🧩 LEGO – Complete sets are definitely not necessary! If you have spare LEGO pieces sitting unused at home, our students would put them to great use in a lunchtime LEGO club.

🎲 Board Games – Any board games that are no longer being played at your place would be greatly appreciated for indoor lunchtime activities.

If you have any of these items that you no longer need and would be willing to donate, please drop them into the school office or get in touch with us and we can arrange collection.

Thank you for supporting our students and helping us create fun opportunities for them during break times!

We've been pretty busy lately! Last week was full on with ERO visiting and then many of our students off to Central Cross Country. Despite the busy schedule, we still found time for some hands on learning.

After one of our reading groups learned about Sapasui, we decided to make some for the class to try. It was a wonderful way to bring our learning to life and tied in perfectly with our "Our Cultures" topic.

Due to sickness and a bit of a shuffle around today, there will be no assembly this afternoon.

Thank you all for another fantastic support with sporting events and school spirit. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and well deserved weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back refreshed next week!
