Dental Care during the School Holidays

The Community Dental Service will be providing dental care for children enrolled with our service during the upcoming school holidays. The clinics will offer treatment and relief of pain sessions by appointment only.
To make an appointment please call/email our Contact Centre which operates between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday throughout the holidays (between 28 September to Friday 05 October).
If your child requires urgent dental care during the time we are closed, please contact your family dentist.

Kaiapoi Clinic, 65 Raven Quay, Kaiapoi – from Monday 28 September to Friday 09 October
Woolston Clinic, 11 Hopkins Street, Woolston, From Monday 28 September to Friday 09 October
Burnside Clinic, 96A Memorial Ave, Burnside - From Monday 28 September to Friday 09 October
Northcote Clinic, 24 Tuckers Road, Casebrook – From Monday 28 September to Friday 02 October
Rolleston Clinic, Selwyn Health Hub, Rolleston - From Monday 28 September to Friday 02 October
Timaru Clinic, Level 1, 18 Woollcombe Street, Timaru – 30th & 31st September and 02 October
Aranui Clinic, 240 Breezes Road, Aranui - From Monday 05 October to Friday 09 October
Hornby Clinic, 2 Hei Hei Road, Hornby - from Monday 05 October to Friday 09 October
Ashburton Clinic, 38 Elizabeth Street, Ashburton - From Monday 05 October to Friday 09 October

The clinics will offer appointments between 8.15am and 4.45pm for school-age and preschool children. If your child has dental pain because of an accident, please contact your dentist in the first instance.

Kia ora everyone! Here’s some info regarding swimming this week.

This weeks lessons:

Wed, Thurs = lifejackets and lifeboat.
Fri = pyjamas (bring tshirt and shorts if you don't have pjs).

Bring these in your swimming bag with your towel and put them on OVER your togs when you you get to the pool before your lesson starts.

Kia ora koutou,

It has been great seeing whānau rallying behind the swim program and support their tamariki, we really appreciate it!

Just a friendly reminder from both the Learn To Swim program and Te Hiwa School that due to our privacy policies photos and videos should not be taken poolside as there are instructors who haven’t consented to this as well as children who are not allowed to be photographed.

The team at Graham Condon have also requested that whānau be seated at the blue benches around the perimeter of the pools, this ensure a clear view for life guards and supervisors. Thanks so much for your support on this and we appreciate your understanding!
