McLeans Forest Harvest 2026 🌲

👉 A scheduled forestry harvesting operation in McLeans Forest is set to begin.

👉 Logging trucks will use Haul Road to access the site. As this is a popular area for walkers and cyclists, some tracks will be temporarily closed or diverted for safety while work is underway.

This work will run from Late-July to Late-September 2026.

From the fast and furious, to chicken hats đź‘€
That's just a taste of what went down at our inaugural McLeans Forest Run last Sunday! With over 560 runners lacing up, it was incredible to see the running community bringing our regional parks to life on a winter morning.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out — whether you smashed a new PB, crossed the finish line on your first half marathon, or brought the family along for a fun day out, your smiling faces made the day. 💚
See you at the next one!

McLeans Forest will be closed to all mountain bikes/cyclists from 7am to 1pm on Sunday 5 July. All tracks will be closed including mountain bike only tracks to allow for the safe ex*****on of the McLeans Forest Run.
👉Tracks will reopen from 1pm.

Thanks for your understanding.
