As a rugby-mad family, I can't begin to say how disappointing that is to hear. Truly devastating 💔

Destroying the hopes and wishes of an entire community for the $$ is not a value I understand.

It took me a while to decide to make this post. I make it in my personal capacity, not in my role leading Pegasus Residents Group, because it is just that… very, very personal.

As the father of two rugby-obsessed adult sons, I have found the influence of the Crusaders, Canterbury, and All Blacks as role models to be massive in their moulding into “good men” 🏉

I totally respect the need for professional athletes to earn off their name once their careers come to an end.

But bad associations are “reputation-destroying", “legacy-ending”, and "dream-shattering" for their fans.

What's that old expression - Never meet your heroes 😢

Come on Kieran – surely you are better than this!

Restore our faith in you! 🙏

KEEPING YOU INFORMED

Today I had the opportunity to speak at the Pegasus Community Cuppa ☕️

It was certainly a smaller gig than last Tuesday's Community Meeting, but it was great to have some quality, real conversations about the situation with the Golf Course.

Lovely to have so much support for our team's efforts 😍

Today our petition quickly cruised past 12,000 signatures📈

WOW! - What an amazing turnout for our Pegasus Golf Course Community Meeting last night

It was literally out the door and down the road! Probably 600+ folks came out to stand and fight for our community!

It's been a relentless task for the last 2+ weeks.

I'm so lucky to have such an awesome team standing alongside me.

Thanks - I finally got some sleep last night 😴
