The end of last term was busy as always! So we had a full day of celebrating our learning! The day started with a Matariki breakfast for all the families who turned up for an early morning coffee and catch up. Then we went to the Planetarium at Tūhura Museum to watch their Matariki presentation. After that it was back to school in time for a final rehearsal of our end of term celebration. We presented to a packed room of very enthusiastic whānau our recorder recital, our Hip hop dance routine and then after an afternoon tea break our annual Wearable Arts Show. The themes this year were Black and White, Board Games and Family. Lots of effort, but great fun. and all practising one of our school values of Kia Maia - Being Brave with your learning and stepping out of your comfort zone.
