👉 Our annual Peninsula Art Exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday - Friday (more information to follow)
👉 Tuesday 4th August will also see an early closure for our students due to Junior Parent/Teacher interviews. School will finish for the day at 2pm
👉 Wednesday 5th August - Information evening for new enrolments

They've gone and done it!!! talking furniture are through to the National finals of the Smokefreerockquest 🎉🎉
Only 8 bands are chosen so this is HUGE! Amazing work team 😀

Tonight is the night!!
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. $5 entry and snacks to purchase throughout the evening. Eftpos available but cash preferred.
Come along for what is always a great night :D

Its back again - the night not to be missed! Lip Sync with the Staff is on next Thursday 30th July.
Come along for a night of hilarity, great music and questionable costumes (probably Mr Spiers in a dress......).

Our Textile Technology group had the opportunity to visit the Southern Institute of Technology (S.I.T) last Friday on a trip to the Hokonui Fashion Awards.

Warrick, Bintang and Grace were fantastic hosts, with the S.I.T cafe providing an amazing lunch for our students before we moved on to a campus tour.
We were shown around key areas of study that our students were interested in which included: beauty therapy, hairdressing, social services, environmental management, visual arts, audio production, and the brand new nursing suite.
It was wonderful to see what study options there are in Southland and learn about the zero fees scheme and accommodation options for students.
Thank you S.I.T for showing us such great southern hospitality! 😀

If your student comes home today saying they watched a dinosaur and gingerbread man running across Bayfield Park, they are not wrong!!
Today our staff kicked off their "Commonwealth Games" and competed in a track & field event at lunchtime - with an enthusiastic crowd of students cheering on from the sidelines. 🦖🦞⚽️🩰🐓🐮🐼

⛸️During the recent school holidays, Year 12 student Enbo competed in some Figure Skating competitions. Enbo has shared a snapshot of his amazing achievements with us:

"At the start of the break, I travelled to Christchurch and won two first-place gold medals: Youth Elite Interpretive and Intermediate Novice Boys. 🥇🥇
Then on the final weekend of the holiday, I competed in Alexandra and claimed another 1st place gold in Intermediate Novice Boys.🥇 This is my first two competitions of this year, and I still have six more to take part in."
