Our activity coordinators are always finding ways to bring residents together – and what better way than a cultural celebration!

Recently, residents and staff at Holmdene came together to celebrate Filipino Independence Day with a wonderful afternoon of culture and delicious food.

Our Filipino team proudly shared the rich history and culture of the Philippines. Residents enjoyed exploring a map, with staff pointing out the islands and regions they come from.

The highlight was a series of traditional dances performed by staff, followed by a tasting of Filipino dishes – an opportunity to experience authentic flavours and connect through culture 💛

A heartfelt thank you to our team for so generously sharing this celebration.
