Holmdene residents recently enjoyed a trip to the Catlins Hotel in Owaka for their popular Pensioner Lunch.

The outing included a delicious main course, pudding, and tea and coffee, followed by a lively game of bingo that brought plenty of laughs around the room. Age Concern also joined the lunch, giving residents the chance to catch up with friends, meet new people and enjoy an afternoon out together.

A big thank you to the Catlins Hotel for hosting such a wonderful lunch.

Outings and community events are an important part of life at our Enliven homes, and this lunch was a real highlight! 😊

Winter sunshine is too good to waste! ☀️

Residents from Argyll at Iona recently wrapped up warm and headed outside for a walk, making the most of a stunning winter's day.

Fresh air, sunshine and good company made for a lovely outing, with plenty of chances to stop, chat and enjoy the season.

Getting out and about is an important part of life at our Enliven homes, and a sunny winter's day is the perfect excuse for a stroll. 💙

Residents at Holmdene, our Enliven care home in Balclutha, recently enjoyed a crafty afternoon creating colourful door decorations.

Using circular cake boards, paper straws and artificial flowers, everyone put their own creative touch on the project. 🌸🌺🌼

It was great to see how their creations each reflected their individual personalities! Each resident chose their own colours, flowers and arrangement, so no two decorations turned out the same. There was plenty of chatting around the table as everyone worked on their decorations and compared the finished results.

A varied activities programme is an important part of life in our Enliven care homes. Activities like this give residents the chance to enjoy their interests while spending time together and making something uniquely their own. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to the Quiltworkers & Patchworkers of Otago and the knitters of the Kiwi Family Trust for their amazing donation of knitted toddler jerseys and stunning quilts.

These beautiful handmade gifts will go out to local families this winter. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, kindness, and the care that has gone into every item. 💙

What a wonderful night at Glow Waitaki! ✨

It was such a pleasure bringing this event together in partnership with Presbyterian Support Otago, Dunedin Wildlife Hospital , and the Otago Medical Research Foundation. Seeing so many of you come along with genuine care and interest in supporting our community really made the evening special.

A huge thank you to the local businesses who helped make it all possible: Valli W**e, S&V musical duo, New World Waitaki, Craftwork Brewery, and the Brydone Hotel. Your support means the world to us, and events like this simply wouldn't happen without you.

We're already looking forward to doing it all again next year. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the night one to remember, we hope to see you there again! 💙
