To do this, our mission is to care for, empower, and connect individuals, whanau, and communities. We are open to all and are flexible and accommodating.

All our Playgroups have finished for the year. A HUGE thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors (the Warehouse and Kmart) for supporting the different play groups in 2025.

We would like to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a good start to 2026!!!!

HUGE thanks to Nancy (middle) who has been donated these fantastic beanies for individuals and families in need. CSS manager Melanie McNatty thanks both Nancy and her longterm friend Dominican sister Jan. It takes Nancy only two evenings in front of the tv to make one. Awesome work Nancy!!

Exciting times!
We're super thrilled to tell you that our Whakarakona Mai – Hearing You counselling service has been selected as one of the charities for Z Energy's Good In The Hood at Kaikorai Valley in mighty Ôtepoti Dunedin!

Through Good in the Hood, every Z service station supports three different community groups, giving away a total of $4,000. All Z customers receive an orange token to vote for their favourite local group, and the funds are split based on the votes each group receives.
If you're at Z Kaikorai Valley between now and the end of September, please grab an orange token and vote for Catholic Social Services Whakarakona Mai – Hearing You.

These additional funds will help us provide the important mahi of counselling kids in schools. Your support can make a huge difference.
