Wow! What a way to celebrate the long weekend with the completion of our brand-new mural at Kaimai School. This amazing piece of art by Murals by Millie truly enhances our environment, embracing elements of nature and our school identity.

A huge thank you to the Creative Communities Scheme, through Creative Bay of Plenty - Te Waka Auaha Toi, and the Kaimai School PTA for their support of this project.

Good evening whānau,

As we go into the long weekend, I wanted to share our 2026 Community Consultation Survey with you on behalf of the board. Your responses to this survey will help the Kaimai School Board create our next two-year strategic plan. This plan, shaped by your feedback, will outline exactly how we will meet our primary objectives for the school (as set out in the Education and Training Act 2020).

The survey can be completed online via the link below, or a paper version can be provided upon request.

https://forms.gle/7CSpJz3EfGnXSvPP9

Our aim is to collect all your responses by Friday, 6 November.

We are also running a prize draw for one of two $50 Prezzy Cards for completing the survey. At the end of the survey, you can 'opt in' to the prize draw. Two names will be drawn at random at our School Hui on the afternoon of Friday, 6 November, and all personal details will be kept completely separate from your responses.

Have a safe long weekend and, if you have the time, please take a look at our survey.

Ngā mihi nui,

Matthew
