This is a part of our link track project at the Peninsula Bay Reserve.

The track will connect the Peninsula Bay Reserve and subdivision down to the lake and lakeside track passing through this native planting area.

We're looking for volunteers to help with the first planting day at Peninsula Pay Reserve this weekend! 🌱

All are welcome on Saturday 13 June between 1.00-4.00pm. We ask that you please arrive at the meeting point (captured below) for a safety briefing.

Come prepared:

🧤 Gloves
💧 Water
🥾 Sturdy footwear
🧥 Warm layers

Walk, cycle or kayak if you can. If you're driving, parking is available at Beacon Point Reserve and enjoy a 700 metre walk to the site. If using Penrith Park Road, park considerately; no blocking driveways or parking on grass.

This long-term restoration project is led by Te Kākano with support from QLDC. Let’s work together to create something special 💚

With 50km, 21km and 11km options, Ultra Wanaka is all about experiencing our world-class trails and the stunning Wanaka landscape that connects them.
