Pinget National High School Strengthens Learner Safety and Support

Pinget National High School continues to strengthen its commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and caring learning environment for all learners. A recent school visit by Schools Division Superintendent Soraya T. Faculo underscored the importance of coordinated action and strengthened support systems in addressing behavioral concerns and other issues affecting learner safety and well-being.

One of the significant developments during the visit was the deployment of Ms. Flordeliza De Matera as the school counselor, who will provide counselling and support to learners facing behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, and other difficulties that may affect their well-being.

To further strengthen its learner protection and support programs, the school is set to implement several initiatives, including orientations for learners and stakeholders, the establishment of Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) with partner organizations, and the development and dissemination of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on safety, positive behavior, and mental and emotional well-being. These efforts aim to promote awareness, encourage positive relationships, and ensure that learners know where and how to seek help when needed.

Through these initiatives and the collective efforts of the school, learners, parents, and community partners, Pinget National High School continues to foster a culture of safety, care, and support, ensuring that the protection and well-being of every learner remain at the heart of the school community.

SPTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CARD GIVING 2026


The school successfully conducted its SPTA General Assembly and Card Giving on September 18, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and stakeholders in support of the learners’ academic growth, well-being, and overall development.

✨ Highlights of the Activity

🤝 Presentation of the Kaagapay Task Force and Action Plan

Christine Bitong, SPTA President, presented the Kaagapay Task Force and its Action Plan, highlighting the important role of parents and community partners in supporting the programs and initiatives of the school.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Quick Parenting Session

A meaningful Quick Parenting Session was facilitated by Julie Mangigil, Barangay Kagawad of Pinget, providing parents with practical insights and reminders on responsible parenting, effective guidance, and supporting their children’s learning and development.

📖 Presentation of DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2026

Johnny Kidian, School Head, presented and explained the important provisions of DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2026, providing parents and stakeholders with relevant information and guidance concerning the policy.

📝 Card Giving

The activity also included the distribution of report cards, giving parents an opportunity to receive updates on their children’s academic performance and to strengthen communication and partnership with the teachers.
