𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧!
The Commission on Population and Development Cordillera Administrative Region (CPD CAR) is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2026 Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Award (RMSKPA). This initiative seeks to honor the exceptional POPDEV efforts and contributions championed by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and private sector partners in the region covering the period January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025.

The nomination must be accompanied by means of verification for CSOs and private sector partners who have contributed to the following categories:

The Commission on Population and Development Cordillera Administrative Region (CPD CAR) hosted a learning session in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Cordillera Administrative Region (DICT-CAR) to enhance the digital literacy and security awareness of its staff and interns.

Held in Baguio City last May 25, 2026, the session brought together CPD-CAR personnel and Government Internship Program (GIP) interns for a focused training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI). The activity aimed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge to navigate government digital platforms securely and efficiently.

The highlight of the session was the Manual User Training on the PNPKI, which included a comprehensive walkthrough of the eGovPH Super App and a dedicated user orientation on the PNPKI system. These tools are central to the national government’s push for streamlined, secure, and interoperable digital public services.

DICT-CAR representatives led the hands-on training, demonstrating how public key infrastructure enhances the security of digital transactions, verifies identities, and protects sensitive data. The eGovPH Super App orientation also showed participants how to access various government services through a single, integrated mobile platform.

This capacity-building initiative underscores both agencies' commitment to the national digital governance agenda and ensures that even interns and support staff are prepared for a fully digitalized government workflow.
