Please be informed that there is NO SUSPENSION OF CLASSES today August 25,2026, EXCEPT for Daycare and Kindergarten classes, which are hereby suspended today in the interest of the safety and welfare of our young learners.

Parents and guardians are advised to exercise discretion and prioritize the safety of their children.

MAYOR’S DIRECTIVE

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES TOMORROW

Due to the approaching typhoon and the possible risks of heavy rainfall, strong winds, landslides, and other hazards, classes in all levels, both public and private schools in the Municipality of Bakun, are hereby SUSPENDED tomorrow, August 24,2026

This directive is issued as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all learners, teachers, and school personnel.

All concerned school heads are directed to immediately inform learners, parents, and teaching personnel and to implement appropriate alternative learning arrangements, when necessary.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather advisories, and prioritize safety.

TO: All Department Heads and LGU Personnel

SUBJECT: Implementation of Alternative Work Scheme

In view of the prevailing weather conditions and pursuant to the applicable directive/memorandum of the Office of the President, all departments and offices of the Local Government Unit of Bakun are hereby directed to implement an Alternative Work Scheme for LGU personnel on August 20,2026..

Department Heads shall arrange the work schedules of their personnel including job orders as appropriate, while ensuring that essential and frontline government services remain operational.

All personnel are reminded to prioritize their safety and welfare, particularly those travelling through areas affected by heavy rains, landslides, or hazardous road conditions.

🔴 FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED

ALL LEVELS

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 60, face-to-face classes in all levels are suspended on August 20, 2026.

📚 HOME-BASED LEARNING (HBL) IN EFFECT
Learners shall continue their assigned activities/modules as provided by their respective teachers. For guidance and concerns, please coordinate with your respective teachers.

NO SUSPENSION OF WORK

TO: All Officials and Employees of the Local Government of Bakun

Please be informed that, upon the directive of Mayor Fausto T.Labinio, there shall be NO SUSPENSION OF WORK on August 19,2026 in all offices of LGU Bakun.

All officials and employees are hereby directed to report for work as scheduled and continue the delivery of government services to the public.

All concerned are directed to comply accordingly.

However, the safety and welfare of every LGU personnel shall remain a priority. No employee shall be compelled to unnecessarily expose himself or herself to imminent danger in the performance of official duties.

MAYOR’S DIRECTIVE

SUSPENSION

Due to the prevailing weather conditions and in the interest of the safety and welfare of all learners and teaching personnel, all classes and related school activities are hereby SUSPENDED for tomorrow, August 17, 2026, in the Municipality of Bakun.

Accordingly, all learners and teachers shall not report to school during the suspension period.

Learners are encouraged to accomplish their assigned learning modules or home-based activities, as provided by their respective teachers, while teachers shall ensure that appropriate learning instructions are communicated to learners.

All concerned are advised to remain vigilant, prioritize safety, and monitor official announcements for further updates.
