Kaisa ang UPM CAS Manila Studies Program sa buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani. Sa araw na ito, ating ipinagdiriwang ang mga Pilipinong nagsakripisyo, nagsumikap, at nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa ating bayan. Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang kabayanihan sa ating patuloy na pagsusumikap para sa isang mas malaya at masaganang kinabukasan ng bansa. 🇵🇭

Ang UPM CAS Manila Studies Program ay nakikiisa sa sambayanan sa paggunita sa buhay at kagitingan ng dating Senador Benigno Aquino Jr. ngayong Ninoy Aquino Day.

Saksi ang sambayanan sa kaniyang katapangan at paninindigang ipaglaban ang demokrasya, karapatang pantao, at katarungang panlipunan sa harap ng naghaharing diktadurang Marcos. Sa ating paggunita ng ika-43 na anibersaryo ng kaniyang kamatayan, ating alalahanin ang diwa ng kapangyarihang bayan. Nawa'y maging inspirasyon ang kaniyang kabayanihan sa ating pagkilos tungo sa isang malaya, makatarungan, at maginhawang bansa 🎗️

𝐓𝐔𝐅𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐔𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 ✨

TUFH's "Conference on the Move" brought international participants to explore the history of the University of the Philippines 🩺🔬📖

On August 5, the UPM CAS MSP facilitated a UP Manila campus tour, focused on the university's history as a health sciences center. Participants were given a chance to view the Anatomy Laboratories of the College of Medicine, where they learned how our silent doctors aid in the development of knowledge for our students. Furthermore, the tour also featured historic institutions such as the old Bureau of Science (currently the UP National Institutes of Health) and the Philippine General Hospital. Lastly, the tour wrapped up with a visit to the UP Manila Museum of a History of Ideas, an institution dedicated to understanding multidisciplinary ideas including health, education, and nationalism.

The UPM CAS Manila Studies Program would like to thank all the participants for joining the tour. We also acknowledge our MSP student volunteers who served as assistant guides. We are also grateful for the support of the TUFH organizing committee, the UP Office of International Linkages, and the UP Museum of a History of Ideas 💕

Maligayang Buwan ng Kasaysayan at Wikang Pambansa 🇵🇭✨

Nakikiisa ang UPM CAS Manila Studies Program sa pagdiriwang ngayong Agosto ng Buwan ng Kasaysayan at Wikang Pambansa. Bilang sentro ng pag-aaral ng Maynila sa Kolehiyo ng Agham at Sining, mithiin ng programa ang pagpapalalim ng kaalaman sa kasaysayan at pagpapalaganap ng pagtangkilik sa ating wikang pambansa.

Ngayong buwan, tayo ay aktibong makilahok sa mga programa at gawaing kaugnay sa pagpapaunlad ng kaalaman sa ating wika at kasaysayan. Tayo ay magsikap upang maging mga tagapagtaguyod ng ating pambansang wika, kultura, at kasaysayan. 💖

Ang kanyang pananaliksik na pinamagatang, "Finding Space Among the Dead: Examining Communication Accommodation Strategies Between LGUs and Cemetery Dwellers in the Socio-Spatial Context of Manila Cemetery Settlements" ay mahalagang kontribusyon sa larangan ng Araling Maynila.

Ang gawad ay ipinagkaloob kay Arman John D. Quitoriano sa naganap na UP Manila CAS 43rd Recognition Rites ngayong hapon, July 31, 2026, sa University Theater, UP Diliman.
