The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 08:00 AM Today.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rockslides and flash flood.

Isabela disadvantaged, seasonal workers receive P18-M TUPAD assistance

At least 2,405 disadvantaged and seasonal workers in Isabela, including farmers affected by the recent drought, received a total of P18.0375 million in assistance under the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program.
The assistance is part of the Marcos administration’s continuing efforts to provide immediate support to vulnerable workers and families affected by disasters and economic disruptions. Through TUPAD, the government provides temporary employment to workers who have lost or experienced reduced income due to disasters and other emergencies.

‘BBM’ funds to support projects, scholarships for Cauayan City

Each of the 65 barangays in Cauayan City received P200,000 in funding under the national government’s Bawat Barangay Makikinabang (BBM) program to support community projects, scholarships, and other priority needs.
The checks were distributed on August 18 at the F.L. Dy Coliseum during an activity led by Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) National President and concurrent LNB Provincial Federation President Maria Katrina Jessica G. Dy and Isabela Vice Governor Kiko Dy. City officials and representatives from the 65 barangays also attended the event.

Matagumpay na idinaos ng City of Santiago Fire Station, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni FCINSP Jay-R P. Guillano, ang dalawang araw na Fire Square Roadshow 2026 noong Agosto 25–26, 2026 sa Robinsons Santiago. Nilahukan ang nasabing aktibidad ng iba't ibang paaralan mula sa buong lungsod upang maghatid sa mga mag-aaral at kalahok ng mahalagang kaalaman at praktikal na pagsasanay ukol sa pag-iwas sa sunog, kaligtasan sa sunog, at kahandaan sa panahon ng sakuna.

Ang programa ay dinaluhan ng mga matataas na opisyal ng Bureau of Fire Protection sa pamumuno ni Regional Director FSSUPT Victoria A. Domingo, kasama sina Assistant Regional Director for Administration FSSUPT Santos C. Gawongna, Assistant Regional Director for Operations FSSUPT Neil Z. Caranguian, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal ng Isabela FSUPT Erwin L. Casil, at Acting Provincial Fire Marshal ng Quirino FSUPT Conrad Ian V. Casayuran, katuwang ang mga City at Municipal Fire Marshals ng Isabela.

Nakiisa rin sa aktibidad si Hon. Anton Phoenex A. Abaya bilang kinatawan ni Punong Lungsod Atty. Alyssa Sheena P. Tan, na nagpapatunay sa matatag na suporta ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtataguyod ng kaligtasan at kahandaan ng mamamayan.

Naging posible ang tagumpay ng Fire Square Roadshow sa pamamagitan ng tuluy-tuloy na pakikipagtulungan ng Lokal na Pamahalaan, Robinsons Santiago, mga nakiisang paaralan, katuwang na ahensya, at iba pang mga stakeholder. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang inisyatibong ito, patuloy na pinaiigting ng City of Santiago Fire Station ang kamalayan sa kaligtasan at binibigyang-kapangyarihan ang komunidad, lalo na ang kabataan, upang maging responsableng katuwang sa pagpigil sa sunog at mabisang pagtugon sa anumang sakuna.

Mas pinabilis at pinadali ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang pagkuha ng mga serbisyong pangkalikasan sa pamamagitan ng DENR Express: Permitting on Wheels, na ginaganap ngayong Agosto 27–28, 2026, mula alas-8 ng umaga hanggang alas-5 ng hapon sa 4 Lanes Plaza, Malvar, Santiago City.

Sa halip na bumiyahe pa sa iba’t ibang tanggapan, maaaring magtungo ang mga residente at kliyente sa nasabing lugar upang iproseso ang kanilang mga dokumento at permit. Kabilang sa mga serbisyong hatid ng DENR at Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) ang pagkuha ng Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) at Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC), accreditation para sa Pollution Control Officer, hazardous waste registration, at mga permit para sa air pollution at wastewater discharge.

Tumatanggap din ang programa ng Online Self-Monitoring Report (SMR) at Online Compliance Monitoring Report (CMR). Kasama rin sa mga serbisyong inilapit sa publiko ang tree cutting at chainsaw registration, land records services, water permitting, wildlife registration, land titling at surveying, alternative dispute resolution, lands verification, lumber dealer registration, at pamamahagi ng mga punla.

Layunin ng DENR Express na gawing mas mabilis, mas maginhawa at mas abot-kamay ang mga serbisyong kailangan ng publiko. Sa pamamagitan nito, nababawasan ang oras at gastos ng mga mamamayan habang hinihikayat ang mas maayos at responsableng pangangalaga sa likas na yaman.
