𝐏𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐃𝐎𝐌 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐊 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐒𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐆. Sagunson karon ang mga insidente sa sunog nga nahitabo sa nagkadaiyang lungsod. Busa, hinaot nga mas mag-amping ug magmatngon kita sa atong mga panimalay aron malikayan ang sunog ug ang dakong kadaot nga mahimo niini.

🔌 Ayaw biya-i nga nakaplug ug nag-andar ang mga appliances kung mobiya kita sa balay. Ilabi na ang plantsa, rice cooker, electric kettle, charger, stove, ug uban pang appliances nga mahimong hinungdan sa sunog.

🏠 Kanunay natong susihon ang electrical wiring sa atong balay. Siguroha nga walay guba, luag, nangasunog, o sobra na ka daan nga wires ug outlets. Likayi usab ang overloading sa electrical outlets ug ayaw pagsumpay-sumpay og daghang extension cords.

With its ongoing commitment to enhancing community preparedness and promoting fire safety awareness, the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and the Bohol Provincial Fire Office, headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆. 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, successfully conducted a simulation exercise, or Damayan sa Kapitbahayan at Purok 4 Moto Norte, Loon, Bohol, a community identified as a Red Zone or fire-prone area.

The activity aimed to strengthen the residents’ preparedness, teamwork, and immediate response in the event of a fire, especially in areas where access to firefighting resources may be challenging.

The BFP Loon Fire Station is truly grateful for the active participation, cooperation, and willingness of the residents and CFAF members of Moto Norte, Loon, supervised by Hon. Socorro Roel Godinez, Punong Barangay, to learn and work together for a safer community.

By implementing this School Emergency Response Plan, Carmelite Learning Center strengthens its commitment to protecting lives, reducing disaster risks, and ensuring that education continues even in times of emergencies. The activity aimed to strengthen the participants’ awareness and preparedness in preventing and responding to fire emergencies, including proper evacuation procedures, fire safety practices, and the appropriate use of fire extinguishers.

The activity was participated by the Loon Public Market personnel and staffs with tenants and vendors, emphasizing the importance of coordination and preparedness among market stakeholders and the community.

Through continuous fire safety education and emergency preparedness activities, we help build a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready community.

All business establishments, even small ones like sari-sari stores and eateries, should maintain accessible and functional fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and first aid kits. These should be placed in visible and easy-to-reach areas. Regular inspection and maintenance must also be conducted to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition at all times.

Coordination with local emergency responders such as the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), police, and nearby health facilities is also highly recommended. Keeping emergency contact numbers posted in visible areas or saved in the phonebook ensures quick communication during critical situations. Building a good relationship with these agencies can provide additional support when needed.

Implemented under the Bureau of Fire Protection’s Obligasyon sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) Program, this initiative aims to strengthen emergency preparedness and foster safer and more resilient communities.
