The Commission on Population and Development (CPD) CALABARZON invites students, researchers, academe, LGUs, regional line agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations to submit abstracts for the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐙𝐎𝐍 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐑𝐂𝐏𝐃).

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

✅ Completed at least two (2) years of college
✅ At least one (1) year of relevant experience
✅ Proficient in safe and defensive driving practices
✅ Skilled in basic vehicle operation, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
✅ Willing to travel within the CALABARZON provinces
✅ Holder of a Professional Driver’s License (A, B, and B1)

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞

In celebration of the 2026 World Population Day, the Cavite Office of the Provincial Population Officer successfully convened the World Population Day Forum on July 23, 2026 at the Administrative Function Hall, Cavite Provincial Capitol. The activity brought together youth leaders, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, and representatives from the DepEd Schools Division Offices across the province to reaffirm the vital role of young people in building inclusive and sustainable communities.

Anchored on this year's theme, "Realizing the Hopes and Aspirations of Young People for their Future," the forum featured timely discussions on the Adolescent Health and Development (AHD) Situationer, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Safe Spaces, with resource speakers from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) CALABARZON, Cavite Provincial Health Office (PHO), and the Philippine National Police (PNP). An open forum provided participants with an opportunity to raise pressing youth concerns, followed by a statement of support and oath-taking ceremony that strengthened their commitment to champion youth development in their respective communities.

The activity underscored that realizing the aspirations of young people requires creating enabling environments where they can access quality education, health information and services, protection, and meaningful opportunities to participate in development. By investing in today's youth, we pave the way for a healthier, more resilient, and more prosperous future for all.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. 𝐂𝐏𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐙𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡-𝐔𝐩 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

CPD CALABARZON conducted its Midyear Assessment and Catch-Up Planning Workshop, bringing together officials and personnel to review the agency's accomplishments for the first half of the year and align priorities for the remaining months of 2026 last July 14-17, 2026.

The workshop served as a venue to assess the implementation status of approved targets, strategic priority interventions, POPDEV localization initiatives, and administrative support projects. Through collaborative discussions, implementation gaps, operational constraints, and budgetary concerns were identified to develop practical catch-up plans that will help ensure the attainment of the agency's annual commitments.

More than a performance review, the workshop reaffirmed CPD CALABARZON's commitment to results-based management, accountability, and continuous improvement. By strengthening coordination, optimizing resources, and refining implementation strategies, the agency remains steadfast in advancing responsive, evidence-based, and people-centered population and development programs across the CALABARZON region.
