The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake milling works and asphalt overlay along the following roads starting tonight, July 13 until July 16:

- EDSA Bus Lane and Lane 2 to 4 (Northbound), from Guadalupe Bus Station to Avida Towers Center.

-EDSA Lane 2 to 4 (Southbound) from Monumento Circle to Global Oil Balintawak.

The activities will be done during night-time only from 11 pm until 5 am.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and allow extra travel time in the affected areas.

The Mandaluyong City Traffic and Parking Management Department (CTPMD) advises all motorists that the continuing gathering/rally/protest at the People Power Monument along EDSA is expected to cause heavy traffic congestion today.

Motorists traveling along EDSA Northbound and Southbound, particularly within the vicinity of the People Power Monument, White Plains, Santolan, Ortigas, and nearby intersections, are advised to anticipate slow-moving traffic, intermittent lane restrictions, and possible traffic management measures to ensure public safety and maintain the orderly flow of vehicles.

Motorists are advised to:

* Allow extra travel time.
* Consider using alternate routes whenever possible.
* Follow the directions of traffic enforcers and law enforcement personnel deployed in the area.
* Stay updated through official advisories from government agencies.

The Mandaluyong CTPMD continues to closely monitor the situation in coordination with concerned agencies to minimize traffic disruption affecting motorists traversing Mandaluyong City.

To avoid the affected area and minimize travel delays, motorists are encouraged to utilize the following RECOMMENDED/SUGGESTED ALTERNATE ROUTES.

The Mandaluyong City Traffic and Parking Management Department (CTPMD) advises all motorists that heavy traffic congestion is expected today due to a rally/protest activity affecting both the Northbound and Southbound lanes of EDSA, particularly in areas approaching the People Power Monument and nearby intersections. Traffic build-up and intermittent traffic management measures may be implemented by the MMDA and the PNP depending on the situation on the ground. (Facebook⁠)

* Avoid unnecessary travel along EDSA while the activity is ongoing.

MANDALUYONG CITY TRAFFIC AND PARKING MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT (CTPMD)
TRAFFIC ADVISORY

The Mandaluyong City Traffic and Parking Management Department (CTPMD) advises all motorists and the commuting public that the City Government of Makati will implement temporary road closures and traffic rerouting from June 28 to June 29, 2026 in Barangay Poblacion to facilitate the Barangay Poblacion Free Concert and related activities.

These traffic management measures are expected to affect traffic flow on major roads connecting Makati and Mandaluyong, particularly motorists using the Makati–Mandaluyong Bridge, J.P. Rizal Avenue, Makati Avenue, Kalayaan Avenue, Estrella Street, Pantaleon Bridge, and EDSA.

Motorists traveling between Mandaluyong and Makati are advised to:

* Plan trips ahead and expect travel delays ranging from 30 minutes to two (2) hours during the implementation period.
* Consider using alternate routes, including EDSA, Pantaleon Bridge (for light vehicles), and other available roads, whenever possible.
* Follow all temporary traffic signs and strictly obey the directions of traffic enforcers from both the Makati Public Safety Department and Mandaluyong CTPMD.

CTPMD is issuing this advisory to keep the public informed of the anticipated traffic impact from the rerouting scheme implemented by the City Government of Makati.

We encourage everyone to drive safely, remain patient, and cooperate with traffic personnel to help ensure the safe and orderly movement of vehicles throughout the duration of the event.
