The Manila Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (MTIPC), during its 4th Meeting held on May 28, 2026, officially adopted MTIPC Resolution No. 1, Series of 2026 entitled: โ€œ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐๐จ. ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐จ ๐€๐๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐”๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.โ€

The resolution seeks to recommend the amendment of Presidential Decree No. 851 to allow employees to receive their 13th-month pay earlier, giving workers more time to prepare for and maximize the holiday season.

The Council also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting industrial peace, strengthening social dialogue, and advancing policies that support both workers and employers in the City of Manila.

The Education Industry Tripartite Council - National Capital Region (EITC-NCR) successfully signed and adopted EITC-NCR Resolution No. 1, Series of 2026 during its 3rd Bi-Monthly Meeting held at Jose Rizal University, 80 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

Also discussed during the meeting were the Membership Strengthening Strategy and the Proposed Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 2 (SO2) Training for EITC Members.

The successful adoption of the resolution marks a significant milestone in advancing collaboration among government, labor, and management representatives in the education sector.

๐—˜๐—”๐—ฅ๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—˜๐—ฅ ๐—ง๐—ข๐——๐—”๐—ฌ: The DOLE-NCR Manila Field Office conducted an orientation and facilitated the contract signing for 24 beneficiaries under the Government Internship Program (GIP) at the Manila Field Office Conference Room.

Labor and Employment Officer and GIP Focal Person Ms. Maria Arcelie Borromeo discussed the programโ€™s legal bases, objectives, and payment process. She also provided an overview of General Labor Standards (GLS) to equip the beneficiaries with essential knowledge on workplace rights and responsibilities.

The beneficiaries will be assigned to various partner agencies and local offices, including the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippine General Hospital (PGH), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), the 6th District Office of Manila, and Barangay 480 in Sampaloc, Manila.
