Ngayong Boys & Girls Week 2026, kilalanin ang mga kabataang pansamantalang hahakbang sa mga tungkulin ng ating mga Manila City Council! ๐Ÿ›๏ธโœจ

From September 7โ€“10, 2026, our young leaders will get a firsthand experience of public service as counterparts of the elected and appointed officials who lead and serve the City of Manila.

Ang Boys & Girls Week ay hindi lamang simpleng role-playing activity. Under Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan includes the selection of youth counterparts of local elective and appointive officials, as well as heads of national offices and agencies within the LGU. The law provides this opportunity for qualified in-school and community youth ages 13 to 17 to serve as Boy and Girl Officials and experience the responsibilities of local governance.

More than wearing the title, this is about learning how leadership works, understanding the responsibilities behind public office, and discovering what it truly means to serve the people. It gives our young Manileรฑos a seat at the table today so they can become more informed, responsible, and compassionate leaders tomorrow.

Sa loob ng apat na araw, hindi lang sila magiging observers. They will experience governance, learn from our city officials, share the voice of the youth, and see public service from a whole new perspective.
