On May 13, 2026, Barangay Balidbid conducted a Vitamin A supplementation activity targeting children aged 6-59 months. This initiative was organized to strengthen the immune system of young children and protect their eye health against blindness caused by Vitamin A deficiency.

PARA SA MGA MAGULANG AT TAGAPAG-ALAGA: Ang TIGDAS ay hindi lang simpleng pantal o rash.

Ito ay isang malubha at nakahahawang sakit na dulot ng measles virus. Ilan sa mga sintomas ng tigdas ay mataas na lagnat, ubo, sipon, at mapupulang rashes. Ngunit hindi lang ito basta simpleng rash o pantal.

Kapag hindi naagapan, ang tigdas ay maaring magdulot ng seryosong komplikasyon tulad ng pneumonia, malnutrisyon, pamamaga ng utak o encephalitis, impeksyon sa tainga, conjunctivitis o pamamaga ng mata.

Ano ang dapat gawin?
Kung mapansin sa inyong anak ang mga nabanggit na sintomas ng tigdas, agad na magpakonsulta sa doktor sa inyong health center para sa maagap at angkop na pangangalagang medikal.
