The Jamot is a Sindhi speaking ethnic group found in Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan.This tribe is divided into approximately more 100 clans including: Dajli, Bohar, Mangrio,Abro,Manjhoo, Ansari, Qureshi, Hanbhi, junejo, Attar, Shaikh, jamali, chutta. The Jamot are believed to have migrated from Arabia into Sindh and then part of the tribe migrate to Balochistan. In Sindh they are know
n as Sammat. They have spent many centuries in Balochistan and Sindh and they are the oldest settlers in Balochistan. As well as the tribe live in other provinces of Pakistan. The Burdha clan living in the Punjab speak Siraiki and are well aware of there culture, traditions and are highly educated vast majority is doctors, engineers and lawyers, in Sindh and Balochistan people from this tribe are also spell it as Burriro instead of Burdha. The tribe also found in India and Iran the ruling prince of Junagar (known as Jam Sahib) belongs to sub tribe Jareja. Mir Ahmed Buksh Manjhoo is the founder of Manjhoo Qabila in 1969 he is the great suppoter of shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, he fights with the enemies of our nations.Jamot's the anchient royals of sindh and some areas of balochistan like. they wer the great warriors and they fought many fights with khan of kalats but didn't lose the singleone the kachhi was given at to khan kalat because many sardar were died in that battle and then afghan king held a big and jamot gived the kachhi as khun baha at the time of kalhorho king of jamot.
