🎶 Teresa and Marta believe that every young person deserves to be heard. As teachers and UPSHIFT mentors, they support teenagers from Ukraine, Poland and beyond with warmth, patience and care – helping them settle in, open up and believe that their voice matters. 🇵🇱🤝🇺🇦
Through UPSHIFT programme, implemented by UNICEF Refugee Response Office together with partners in Poland, Teresa, Marta and many other mentors show young people that they can shape the world around them. Step by step, they help them turn ideas into action and build a sense of confidence and belonging.
For many teenagers from Ukraine, that kind of support can make a real difference. Sometimes it starts with one conversation, one idea, one moment of courage – and grows into the feeling that Poland can be a place where they feel safe and truly welcome.
